<使い方のポイント>
１．鉄瓶内にお湯を残さず注ぎ切る
２．使用後は蓋を外し、余熱で鉄瓶を乾かせる
３．洗う際は、洗剤を使わず、水で洗う
鉄瓶の使い方は難しくありません。沸かしたお湯は使い切り、蓋を外して自然乾燥させることが大事です。
使い続けると、鉄瓶内部に自然と湯垢(白色や赤茶色)がつきますが、これは錆びではありません。湯垢は、水の中の石灰分や鉄分が付着して出来るものです。鉄瓶が水の不純物を吸着することで、水の味を滑らかにします。
鉄瓶の内側と外側は、漆の表面仕上げで防錆処理されるので、たわしや硬いスポンジで、鉄瓶を擦らないでください。
錆びの原因となるのは、内部に残った水分や、油、洗剤です。もし水に鉄の味がする場合や、水が濁っている場合、内部に錆びが生じている可能性があります。お湯に茶葉を入れ、弱火で数時間沸騰させることで、錆びを軽減出来ます。
