アッパーマウントは車のサスペンションの上部分を車体に固定させる重要な役目を果たしています。
ハンドリングや乗り心地の快適性を担う大切な役割をしていて、金属とゴムを組み合わせた部品構成となっています。
車の重量を支えていますので、数ある車のゴムブッシュでヘタリやすいパーツと言えます。
タイヤからの振動や衝撃はサスペンションからアッパーマウント、車体へと伝わります。
ボディとサスペンションをアッパーマウントのゴムブッシュを通して振動や衝撃を吸収させていますので、そのため年数が経過したり走行距離が伸びてきますと、耐久性のある純正部品でも劣化は避けられません。
アッパーマウントから異音が発生した場合、そのまま放置すると足回りパーツを痛めてしまいかねますので、早急に部品交換する事をオススメします。
交換時期の目安としては、新車購入から10年か走行距離10万kmです。
この期間内であっても、車検や点検の際状態をチェックして異常が確認された場合には部品交換が必要になります。
