70年代のジャズ／ソウルシーンから90年代以降のクラブ／レア・グルーヴシーンに至るまで、世代やジャンルを超えて愛された伝説のミュージシャン、ウェルドン・アーヴィンがニーナ・シモンのバンドメンバー、音楽監督としても関わっていたことは知られていますが、そのバンドメンバーとともに結成したゲットー・キティによる唯一のシングルが遂にオリジナルの7インチフォーマットで再発！
ニーナ・シモンのパートナー、アンディー・ストラウドのプロデュースで、ニーナ・シモンのプライヴェートレーベルでもあり一連のリリースでも知られているStroudRecordsから1972年にリリースされた本作は、ウェルドン・アーヴィンの1stアルバム『LiberatedBrother』と同年リリースという、60年代後半からのニーナ・シモンとの活動をへて70年代初頭から自らのレーベル、NodlewMusicを立ち上げ自身の作品を発表していく初期ウェルドン・アーヴィンの足跡を辿る非常に貴重な音源！
もちろんサウンドも素晴らしく、分厚いブラスセクションからメロウなエレピと軽快なパーカッションが絡み合いながら音が重なっていくイントロに始まり、パワフルでソウルフルな男女ツインヴォーカルによる掛け合いで一気に畳み掛けるレア・グルーヴ感満載な極上キラー・ファンク！
