2023年に1stフルアルバム「Super moon」をリリースし、同年には『降幡 愛 4th Live Tour USAGI』神戸・東京の２公演を開催した降幡 愛。そんな降幡 愛が、ソロアーティストデビュー約3年以上の活動の中で自身初となるアニメタイアップを担当する。TVアニメ『アストロノオト』は2024年4?より放送予定の総監督：高松信司（『銀魂』）×キャラクターデザイン原案：窪之内英策（『ツルモク独身寮』）が贈る新感覚SFアパートラブコメディ。そのOPテーマである「ホホエミノオト」はアニメの世界観にぴったりの、どこか懐かしさを感じる多幸感溢れた１曲となっております。作家陣には、作曲にポルノグラフィティやいきものがかりなどのプロデュースを担当してきた本間昭光氏、作詞には布袋寅泰などロックアーティストのヒット作、数多くの昭和ポップスやアニメソングを手がけた森雪之丞氏を迎え、80年代由来のシティー・ポップを掘り下げてきた降幡 愛だからこそ魅せることができる1枚に仕上がりました。アニメ盤は描き下ろし版権を表1に使用。
