上方落語界を代表する桂 枝雀の選りすぐりの20演目をまとめた完全保存版DVD。各演目ごとに桂 南光、ざこばをはじめ9人の兄弟弟子・弟子達が枝雀師匠との思い出を語る枝雀散歩道のコーナーを収録。字幕機能付き。うなぎや昭和58年6月19日放送MBS「笑いころげてたっぷり枝雀」より『うなぎや』は、東京では『素人鰻』として親しまれ、特に昭和の名人といわれた八代目桂文楽の名演が知られています。東京では別に『士族の商法』という別称もあります。原話は、安永六年(一七七七)大阪板『時勢噺綱目』巻一所収「俄旅」です。七度狐昭和55年4月27日放送ABC「枝雀寄席」より〈大阪の人間が二人寄れば漫才になる〉という漫才作者・秋田實の句にもあります通り、枝雀落語『七度狐』は、のどかな日本昔ばなし風の、喜六・清八コンビの漫才調のほのぼのとした落語になっております。
