1世紀以上前にウィリアム・モリスによってデザインされ、愛され続けてきたパターン「アルカディア」。2024年10月、KLIPPANの手により、カシミヤ&メリノ混紡によるこの上なくやわらかなスローとなり、日本に初登場です。
豊かな自然に囲まれた、平和で幸福な場所。詩や芸術が花開く理想郷……。「Arcadia(アルカディア)」とは、古代ギリシャの人々が理想とした、牧歌的な桃源郷を指す言葉です。自然への回帰を唱えたウィリアム・モリスも、約120年前、この理想郷を夢見てパターンをデザインしたのでしょうか。小さく可憐なサンザシの花と、それを取り巻く大ぶりの葉と茎が描かれています。
