バーブラ・ストライサンドの最新作は、バーブラ自身が1963年から現在までにレコーディングしたすべてのマスターを1年かけて吟味し、選び抜いた未発表音源による珠玉のコレクションです。収録曲には『The Singer』と名付けられた未発表アルバムのために1970年に録音したジミー・ウェッブ作曲「Didn`t We」のほか、アルバム『Stoney End』レコーディング時の1971年よりストライサンドがヴォーカルを、ニューマン自らがピアノを演奏するランディ・ニューマンのヒット曲「I Think It's Going To Rain Today」のとても印象的な共演、アルバム『スター誕生』(1976年)の収録曲「もう一目、あなたに」の未発表スタジオ・バージョン、名作『追憶のブロードウェイ』(1985年)の続編として制作された未発表企画『バック・トゥ・ブロードウェイ』(1993年)からは 「Home」(from The Wiz)と“How Are Things In Glocca Morra ? / Heather On The Hill" (from Finian`s Rainbow / Brigadoon)の2曲など、見逃せないラインナップが揃います。
