クランク角センサーはクランク角度を察知し得た情報から回転数・各気筒のサイクルを判断しています。
そして各シリンダーへの燃料噴射・点火のタイミングを決めています。
カムシャフトポジションセンサーはカムシャフトの角度を察知しています。
可変バルブタイミング（VVT）を制御するためにカムシャフトの位置が基準角に対していくらぐらいズレているかを察知するのに欠かせないセンサーです。
このパーツが壊れますと突然エンジンが止まって立ち往生してしまう事になります。
センサー類は経年劣化や熱でのトラブルの起こりやすいパーツですので、不調を感じたら消耗品と割り切り新品に交換する方が無難です。
走行距離が多かったり、年式が古かったりする場合には注意が必要になります。
交換も高価な純正部品を使うのではなく、純正部品同等のリーズナブルな社外品を使用することによってコストを抑えることができます。
交換することによりエンジン不調を予防でき、快調を維持できますので定期的に交換する事をオススメします。
