ブランクスには【MACH(マッハ) Ⅲ】の素直な基本アクションを継承しつつ、しなやかな中にもジグ操作に切れ味を出す為【中弾性カーボン】をメインとした素材構成へ変更。更なるレコードフィッシュに備えるべく、バットパワーを10％程度引き上げたブランクスは、ハイドラグでのファイトを考慮し、ベンディングの移行を阻害しないワンピース構造で限界強度を引き上げている。
【MACH(マッハ) Ⅲ】に使用されていた【4パワー表記クラス】を「Ｍ」に設定しパワーを持て余す事無く使いこなせる。より大型に対応する【6パワー表記クラス】を「ＭＨ」に設定。高負荷ドラグファイトに対応するこだわりのワンピース構造に、バットセクションのパワーアップと素材変更を施し展開する。
ステンレスフレームのSic-Sガイドを「ダブルラップ/トリプルラップ」で装着し、ブランクスのアクションを阻害せずに必要な耐久性を確保したセッティング。リールシートはスピニングモデルにDPS18のアップロック、ベイトモデルはTCS18のダウンロックを採用。共に緩み止めのナットLOGR/ANも装備した。グリップはマッハⅢのアイコンであったコルクを継承させ、手触り・耐久性に優れた高品位コルクを採用した。マッハⅢに比べ延長されたリアグリップは、実釣における脇挟みでの操作性を高めると共に、ロッドエンドを腹を当てたファイトも阻害しない長さを追及。
対象魚にはヒラマサ・ブリ・カンパチ等の大型青物の青物御三家が特におすすめ。釣り地域では「五島~玄界灘~山陰海域」「伊豆~外房海域」が特にお勧めです。
【ZMV-S63MH】はMACHⅢの62S-6に相当するスピニングモデル。MACHⅢに比べ全長が１インチ延びているが、リアグリップ長も適正な長さに延長された事により、腋挟みでの操作が多い実釣時のバランスは向上している。ヒラマサ等の青物だけでなく、スピニングタックルで挑むトンジギにもお勧めできる。
